ABOUT JOSEPH D'AGOSTINO
Joseph A. D’Agostino, an adult convert to the Catholic Church who was baptized by the late Archbishop Custódio Pereira at the altar in Rome where Our Lady appeared in 1842, is a freelance journalist who currently divides his time between Washington, D.C. and Charlottesville, Va. as a law student at the University of Virginia. He intends to perform scholarly work on the ways in which social elites use law, news media, and entertainment to persuade ordinary people to do certain things or to be passive.
Former Vice President of Communications at the Population Research Institute, www.pop.org, a pro-life organization that exposes the dangers and human rights abuses of population control programs, he is a Contributing Editor to Human Events, www.humanevents.com, a weekly conservative magazine based in Washington, D.C., where he served as Associate Editor. He has had over 1,000 articles published in various periodicals over the past 12 years, taken several journalistic trips to Europe and one to Brazil, and attended a week-long population conference at the United Nations. He has appeared on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” and on hundreds of radio programs including the CBS Radio Network, BBC Radio, and Relevant Radio. He holds a BA from the University of Chicago.
